Khalil Gibran on Pain (The Prophet)

www.pranasanayoga.com This poem of Khalil Gibran from The Prophet is a great reminder that pain is the divine taking us to a different dimension of life. We don't need oppose and resist it. Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional. The only reason we suffer with our pain is that we don't want to accept its existence and dont recognize its value. We think that pain is not fair, that we didnt deserve to experience it, that we are being punished for something we have not done. In truth, pain chooses us when it sees that we are ready for transformation. Music Spirit of Reiki (Healing Hands) by Oreade Music
