Tuesday July 24th marked the exclusive launch of KARL LAGERFELD at the iconic London department store Selfridges. The highly anticipated debut welcomed two collections from the fashion brand including KARL (Man + Woman) and the launch of the premium line KARL LAGERFELD PARIS (Man). In addition, an exclusive capsule collection offered Selfridges' customers unique designs. KARL turned heads upon arriving outside Selfridges where he was welcomed by the store's Creative Director Alannah Weston. He reviewed the dedicated KARL LAGERFELD windows he created for Selfridges, situated next to the main entrance of the Oxford Street store. The windows offer a glimpse of what is to come. After ascending by escalator to Third Central, Selfridges' vibrant contemporary womenswear department on 3rd floor, KARL unveiled his new collections at the pop-up store allowing customers and fans to experience the KARL LAGERFELD world. The event continued on to a private cocktail party held at the Selfridges' rooftop where Alison Mosshart, of The Kills, spun vinyl sounds enjoyed by guests including, , Rosario Dawson, Daphne Guinness, Mario Testino, Poppy Delevigne, Labrinth, Josephine de la Baume , Bip Ling, Florence Brudenell-Bruce, Tallulah Harlech, Edie Campbell, Otis Ferry, Alpines, Juno Temple, Clara Paget, Friendly Fires.
