On April 5, 2011 CODEPINK, World Can't Wait, Progressive Democrats of America and other activists staged a peaceful protest of Prof. John Yoo during his speaking engagement in Silicon Valley, CA, only to be physically and verbally assaulted by members of the GOP and Tea Party for speaking the truth about Yoo's war crimes. 8 activists were forcefully removed from the event by audience members.
