As Governor he "privatized" most state operations giving huge "Start-up" handouts that gutted the Government in the Sunshine laws by making the actions of those private companies not subject to what had been the most transparent state government in the nation. In the process they have moved most of the budget off the books and vastly increased costs while doing very much less. With one party rule and a compliant press most of the nightmare has been covered up.
