OCT 20, 2006 -- US Rep. Jane Harman (D-Torrance) responds to comments made earlier in the day by the President, who asked at a GOP fundraising luncheon, "Voters need to ask the question... Which political party will protect the brave men and women who wear our uniform." The Congresswoman was speaking at the 2nd annual ILWU/PMA fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Club of the Harbor Area, which operates 14 program sitres serving kids in San Pedro and Wilmington, California. The event raised $140000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs.
