Saitoti griled by house security committee
www.ntv.co.ke Internal Security minister Professor George Saitoti was Monday grilled by the Parliamentary Committee On Defence, on the state of the country's security. Saitoti confirmed that one man was arrested following Saturday's grenade attacks at the Machakos country bus. The defence committee was informed that the suspect was arrested in Umoja estate in Nairobi while loading goods into his house. Saitoti says the police are treating him as a terrorist, and such he remains under police watch. The suspect and others being hunted down by police are alleged to have thrown four grenades, seven metres apart from a moving vehicle along Landhies Road towards Jogoo Road.
