July 20, 2008 The announcement this past week that William Petersen will depart "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" could leave the top-rated forensics drama minus three major characters in the coming season. Jorja Fox, who plays Sara Sidle, left last season, although she will return for multiple episodes in the fall, in a story line paving the way for the departure of Petersen's character, Gil Grissom.
