He knew a lot of the guys at the jail when they were processing him."] Earlier that morning Peterson turned himself in to police on a felony weapons charge. [Notes:NATS UP Joel Brodsky, Attorney: "He'll be home for dinner."]But was released hours later after an adult son posted 10 percent of his 75-thousand dollar bond.The charge stems from one of eleven weapons police seized during a search of Peterson's home November first. Police say one of the rifle's barrel was too short under Illinois law.But Peterson's attorney thinks the arrest was simply an attempt by police to harass him.
