Joseph Gordon-Levitt To Play "The Holiday Killer" In 'The Dark Knight Rises'?

bit.ly - Click to Subscribe! The Joseph Gordon Levitt, Dark Knight Rises Rumors have been circling for what seems like forever -- Will he be the Holiday Killer? Find out more next! Hey There, I'm Chelsea Cannell coming to you from the Clevver Movies Headquarters with some news on Joseph Gordon Levitt as the Holiday Killer. The plan was supposedly to keep the actors role in Chris Nolan's Dark Knight under wraps but it it looks like that didn't work out. Gordon Levitt confirmed his involvement last week and now a Nolan insider has revealed that he WILL be playing Alberto Falcone AKA the Holiday Killer in the trilogy ending sequel. The Charcter comes from the original comic book story The Long Halloween in which Alberto decides not to join his father in the Gotham Mafia but instead stages his own Halloween Murder Movement. But it doesn't stop there. He then moves on to other holidays, targeting members of the criminal underworld. But Before he gets to Sal Maroni, he gets captured by Bruce Wayne. Carmine Falcone, Alberto's father played by Tom Wilkinson, popped up in Batman Begins which means the rise of Alberto in the Dark Knight is a nice way to round out the trilogy.
