On July 12th, Senator Carl Levin of Michigan introduced S1346: Stop Tax Haven Abuse Act. This is a piece of legislation that will force American companies who are are registered in tax havens to pay the taxes they would owe if they were registered in the United States. This act builds off of similar legislation that failed in the past.
