After Brett Lee hit, Sachin to undergo MRI scan- NewsX
Sachin Tendulkar is likely to go for a precautionary MRI scan today ahead of the crunch clash against Sri Lanka tomorrow. Sachin was hit on the head by a sharp lifting delivery from Brett Lee during the Brisbane ODI at the Gabba on Sunday. Tendulkar misread the pace and lift of Lee's delivery and the ball hit the grill of his helmet and bounced off to mid-on where Xavier Doherty took the catch. Apparently, the blow had also deflected on to Tendulkar's forehead, above his right eye. Tendulkar's innings ended off the very next delivery he faced. Tendulkar was given ice treatment on the swelling in the dressing room. For more info log onto: alpha.newsx.com
