Blanche Lambert Lincoln (born September 30, 1960) is a United States Senator from the State of Arkansas and a member of the Democratic Party. In 1998, at 38, Lincoln became the youngest woman elected to the U.S. Senate. She is the second female senator from Arkansas, after Hattie Caraway. Lincoln is the first woman to serve as chair of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry. Lincoln is seeking a third term in November of 2010.
