Benazir Bhutto Comments
Benazir Bhutto (Sindhi: بينظير ڀٽو, Urdu: بینظیر بھٹو, IPA: [beːnəziːɾ bɦʊʈːoː]) (June 21, 1953 – December 27, 2007) was a Pakistani politician...

Benazir was mercilessly killed on 27 December 2007 in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Gen(R) Musharaf's Government conducted investigaions in coordination with the British Intelligence Services. Pakistan Peoples Pary was not satisfied with the investigation results. PPP and Mr. Zardari (the husband of late Benazir) demanded investigation at international level through the UN.
PPP was voted into power in February 2008 and its candidate was sworn in as PM in March 2008. Mr. zardari took over as Pakistan President in August 200. Instead of now carrying out the investigation itself PPP continues with its idea of UN Investigation into the circumstances leading to Benazir murder and the persons responsible.President Zardari devoted 3/4th of his speech to UN General Assembly on 25 September eulogising late Benazir Bhutto and calling on the international community to ensure UN investigation on the murder of his wife.
Very interestingly! As one recalls faces of the person who targeted Benazir with revolver aimed at her are clearly seen through the TV Reporting of the murder. Simiarly, the person standing behind Benazir while she was addressing the public meeting in Rawalpindi and continuously making gestures to unidentifiable person(s) persons is already murdered. No post-martum was carried out of the dead body on the instructions of Mr. Zardari. The scene of the murder was washed/cleaned within an hour of the murder.
Now what is that Pakistan Government expects from UN Investigations !!

December 27th mark a historical event, as our beloved leader, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto departed from this world. This day is commemorated as a day of democratic victory. One year has passed to her assassination, but she is still attached to our hearts and feelings. Although, there were many threats to her life, but even then, she fought the battle against the corrupted people of our country with courage. She was not only the daughter of the east, but she was the true mother of the nation, who always treated nation as her children, and did many things for the reformation of the people as a mother. She was the intellectual treasure for us. She was the voice of many unheard voices. She never learnt to back out of any thing. She fought till the last breath to show her iron will and determined mission to work for humanity. She was brutally assassinated because of her good will and great thoughts to build our nation stronger. After Lady Diana and Mother Theresa, she is considered as an International icon and role models for many people. We salute her courage, bravery, talent, leadership qualities and her positive motives for our nation.
Mourners still weep inconsolably and beat their chests, because such leaders are born rarely. It was a cowardly act to kill a democratic lady. Loosing such a great women makes us feel as if one of the family members of each of our family has passed away. We must continue her mission with dignified morals.
May her soul rest in eternal peace
