Boston Bruins right winger Nathan Horton was taken to the hospital after a crushing blow to the head from Vancouver Canucks defenseman Aaron Rome. Horton was removed from the ice on a stretcher, and the Bruins later reported that he had feeling in his extremities. Teammates were encouraged when Horton said a few words to Milan Lucic.
