The Hobbit have announced the titles and release dates for Peter Jackson's two-part 3D prequel to The Lord of the Rings trilogy. The first film will be titled The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and be released on December 14, 2012, according to an announcement on the movies' official Facebook page.
