A North Shore woman believed to be New Zealand's oldest woman has died at 109 years-old. Lena Ray, or Nana as she was more affectionately known, passed away at Te Mana rest home in Birkdale on Monday. The North Shore Times visited her on January 19 when she turned 109.     Lena Ray, believed to be New Zealand's oldest woman, died at a rest home on Auckland's North Shore yesterday. Mrs Ray, who turned 109 in January, died at the Te Mana Rest Home in Birkdale yesterday, said a friend of hers for 60 years, Percy Allison.
