Thursday evening's art fair opening celebration was a mellow moment before the weekend's chaos for about 200 Salem Art Association staffers, volunteers, interns, sponsors and art lovers. Nearly everyone under the oaks by the Bush's Pasture Park Rose Garden planned to work at the Salem Art Fair & Festival, enjoy it to the hilt or both.
