Southbound MARC train delayed due to mechanical trouble

The Penn Line train stopped at the New Carrollton station with problems with its air brakes, said MTA spokesman Terry Owens. The passengers were picked up by other trains after about 30 to 40 minutes, he said. Other trains are running about 30 minutes behind schedule as a result of the earlier problems, he said.
