Chain controls in place for many Tahoe roads

Calif. — A quick moving winter storm dropping 3 to 8 inches of snow at lake level has resulted in driving restrictions for many roads around the lake. According to the Nevada Department of Transportation vehicles driving on Highway 28 are required to have snow tires or chains.
