Implosion only a start for Owensboro riverfront rebuild
Ky. While demolition of the Executive Inn Rivermont drew hundreds of spectators Sunday morning, it was just a sideshow to Owensboro and Daviess County officials. Their attention is on other sections of downtown and the Ohio River as part of an $80 million revitalization plan.
