Checks on slopes for risk of landslides have been stepped up now that the monsoon rains are here. The authorities, prompted also by the recent landslide near Rawang on Tuesday, have identified other landslide-prone areas dotting Hulu Klang, Penang, Cameron Highlands and Kuala Lumpur.
