Hospital loses third of surgeons over pay

Royal Darwin Hospital's general surgeons have resigned because they are being treated as second-class specialists, a peak medical body said. Five of the hospital's 15 surgeons have resigned as a result of an unresolved pay dispute, which began about 15 months ago.
