Barnstable residents approve government change by 1 vote

Residents of Barnstable on Cape Cod have voted to change the town’s form of government by a single vote. Town Clerk Linda Hutchenrider said voters today approved the charter ballot question 2,580 to 2,579. More than 200 voters that turned in ballots left the question blank.
