The Florida Everblades began theit three-game road trip Wednesday night with a 4-3 shootout loss to the Charlotte Checkers. Charlotte defenseman Julian Brouillette popped the game-winner past Blades goalie Chris Beckford-Tseu, who recorded 35 saves, in the 11th round of the shootout.
