EC 'may force' AIB to sell Polish unit
AIB may have to sell the subsidiaries if it gets public assistance and the Commission follows the precedent set by its treatment of ING Groep NV, Gazeta Wyborcza said. The EU’s executive arm will present this month the terms of approving aid for the Irish bank, the newspaper said.
