Man hurt by exploding tire still hospitalized

A 39-year-old man remains in fair condition at Wesley Medical Center after the tire he was inflating on Saturday exploded in his face. The man was adding air to a tire on his 2008 Honda Accord at a convenience store in the 3100 block of South Hillside at about noon Saturday when the tire blew up.
