    right on! The conservatives will be happy because this is a robust defense of state's rights, and the liberals will be happy because they get to smoke pot. I always wondered why local police forces didn't act to stop the unlawful theft of property, false arrests, and intimidation of law abiding citizens practiced by the DEA under bush. It's our state, we should be able to do as we please under our own laws without oppression from the feds.

    I love how Californians think that allowing the sale of pot and allowing people to grow pot will somehow provide new taxes. If it cost $50 in taxes to buy pot why not just grow it yourself. When one of the 3 ballot initiatives gets past once again stupid Californias will realize another idea didn't work.
