Australia was 'hothouse' for killer lizards

A team of international scientists working at three sites across Queensland have unearthed large fossils almost identical to the Komodo dragon. The three-metre long dragon is now only found on a group of volcanic Indonesian islands, and is considered a vulnerable species.
