Protesters barricade road
Police fired rubber bullets when Sakhile township residents used stones, burning tyres and trash to barricade the R23 to Standerton on Monday, Mpumalanga police said. Captain Leonard Hlathi said 23 people were arrested following the incident and charged with public violence.
