The Henryville Chicken Chase a four-mile run/walk — formerly known as the Colonel’s Chicken Chase — was first held in 1984 and continued to 1997. The second inception of the race was picked up in 2006 with the proceeds going to the Henryville Dollars for Scholars scholarship fund.
