Ill. man drowns trying to save kids
Police in southwestern Michigan say an Illinois man apparently drowned in Lake Michigan while trying to rescue his five children from rough waters. The 45-year-old man was pulled unresponsive Saturday evening from waters near the South Beach Pier in South Haven.
