Loan growth slows to 15-year low

Total credit growth slowed to its weakest since 1994 as businesses borrowed less. In April, private sector credit was 4.6 per cent higher than for the same month a year earlier, slowing from the previous month's 4.9 per cent expansion, according to data from the Reserve Bank of Australia.
