Seguin lawmaker Kuempel collapses in Capitol elevator
Rep. Edmund Kuempel was found collapsed in a Capitol elevator on Tuesday night, and was rushed to Austin’s Breckenridge Hospital. Lawmakers who rushed to the scene said it’s unknown how long Kuempel, R-Seguin, was in the elevator before he was found by a Capitol staffer.
