Broach Sports Tours has announced an exciting lineup of 2013 Major League Baseball tours, with visits to all 32 Major League stadiums.
The lineup of baseball travel packages is highlighted by long-time favorites such as the Deluxe East Coast and Deluxe Midwest tours, plus several weekend getaways to New York and Atlanta. But Broach Sports Tours president Tom Broach has also added some new, unique itineraries for 2013 that are sure to be a hit.
“We’ve been in business for 20 years, and the 2013 schedule offers the most variety we’ve ever had,” Broach said. “There are weekend trips...There are trips to stadiums that some fans may have never visited and want to mark off their Baseball Bucket List. And of course there are numerous opportunities to go to the great storied stadiums like Wrigley Field, Yankee Stadium and Fenway Park. We feel like we have something ideal to offer every baseball fan.”
New this year is what Broach calls its Elusive Baseball Tour, which includes games in Miami, Texas, Colorado and Atlanta. Those are the stadiums Broach has identified that often don’t fit into conventional tours.
New this year also are several options and itineraries for the 2013 All-Star Game, to be played at the New York Mets’ Citi Field. Fans can come strictly for All-Star Game and its activities, or they can combine the All-Star Game with larger East Coast tours earlier and later in the week.
Of course there are several very popular annual tours such as the Northeast Hall of Fame Tour, the Southern California Mini-Tour, the Classic Northwest Mini-Tour, the Chicago-Area Tour, the Deluxe West Coast Tour, the Florida Tour, and several combinations that include trips to New York, Boston and Cooperstown.
One particularly interesting tour this year is the Deluxe Midwest Tour, running July 29-Aug. 10. The 13-day tour catches 16 Major League teams, two minor league teams, 12 games and 11 stadiums. It starts in Pittsburgh and continues on to Cleveland, Detroit, Chicago Cubs, Milwaukee, Minnesota, Kansas City, St...Along the way are stops at the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the Field of Dreams, and the Louisville Slugger factory.
Cost of that package is $2780 per person double occupancy, but Broach is offering a $400 discount or free airfare from your city to anyone making reservations before Dec. Major League Baseball is announcing the next year’s schedules earlier nowadays, and that has allowed us to get a jump on our 2013 tours,” Broach said. “It’s never too early to plan ahead for a great baseball trip.”
