Remote Radio Heads (RRH) back to the base station.

A prototype system was showcased in Orlando at the 2012 Wireless Infrastructure Show earlier this month and the demonstration of the next step in Fiber-DAS and indoor coverage solutions received great feedback from show attendees.

Henrik Huss, CEO of DeltaNode Solutions says “We believe that when a building owner, neutral host or operator decides to deploy a Fiber-DAS they can greatly benefit from being able to use our well-proven Fiber-DAS solution deployment to also connect any IP-capable device back to the central head-end and extend a Gigabit Ethernet IP network to all places where the remote nodes for cellular coverage are placed”.

The DeltaNode coverage solution also employs integrated off-air repeater as well as direct interfaces to Radio Base Stations to transport the signals to remote locations over a fiber network where amplifiers will restore the RF signals and create coverage. The solution is a multi-operator and multi-band solution capable of handling all cellular bands in US as well as EU and Asia and special frequencies are available upon request.
