Taipei, Oct. 23 (CNA) The U.S. dollar rose against the Taiwan dollar Tuesday, gaining NT$0.008 to close at NT$29.328 as the greenback regained its footing to reverse earlier losses on the back of local central bank intervention in the latter part of the session, dealers said.
