October 17, 2012 – The 17th annual Epcot International Food and Wine Festival embraces fine cuisine from more than 25 of Orlando’s ethnic and regional marketplaces. More than 270 chefs from across the country are conducting culinary demonstrations and hosting dinners and tasting events throughout the festival’s run. Marketplace, local Florida marketplace cuisine, beverages created specifically for children, gourmet chocolate by Ghirardelli, and culinary demonstrations by renowned chefs like Cat Cora, Gale Gand and Robert Irvine.
Some festival favorites from previous years return, including the Party for the Senses which is hosting grand tasting events October 20 and 27, and November 3. Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the festival, the cranberry bog returns and watermelons sprout in Future World, and the “Eat to the Beat” concert series provides three shows daily.
Attendees come from across the U.S., Canada and Europe to take advantage of Central Florida’s mild fall temperatures and this world-class culinary festival. To make the trip a true international experience, many travelers are booking their dream car through Prestige Luxury Car Rentals instead of the usual cookie-cutter car rental.
