cDemo Mobile Solutions has entered into an agreement with Manheim, Inc to provide the data collection & distribution technology for Manheim’s new myMobileListing Application. myMobileListing, derived from cDemo’s Mobile Inspector (Mi) Application, allows Manheim dealers, using an iPad or iPhone, to list vehicles on the Manheim marketplace directly from their lots or any other location, providing the ability to easily capture and disclose vehicle details including condition, options and equipment and submit up to 24 images and 5 video segments, which are combined to form one single video.
Here’s how it works: To list a vehicle, the seller using myMobileListing, is prompted by on-screen instructions on their mobile device to answer questions and complete photo and video points that all have been formulated based on the specific vehicle, as identified by its VIN. Once this “data capture” process is complete, a Manheim algorithm applies a condition grade to the vehicle based on this seller-supplied data...Creating a Basic Listing in the Manheim marketplace with the myMobileListing app takes approximately five minutes. Creating a Seller Disclosure takes approximately 8 – 12 minutes.
This agreement between Manheim and cDemo officially launches the cDemo MiPaaS (Mobile Inspector Platform as a Service) to the North American market. cDemo’s MiPaaS is a Data Utility Platform engineered to facilitate and standardize data collection, management and distribution. Using mobile applications, cloud computing and a proprietary and configurable data collection based architecture, cDemo provides easily customizable solutions for anyone wanting to describe and distribute relevant details and content relating to any asset or process, including automobiles.
myMobileListing, as a product configured in and available from cDemo’s MiPaaS, provides the ability for Manheim and it’s dealers to finally be able to “take their business live”, by enabling listings to be created and generated on Manheim’s online marketplace essentially in “real time”. Literally, at the push of a few buttons on a single mobile device, users can easily capture and upload relevant vehicle features, options, equipment, condition, images and video and have their vehicle immediately visible to potential buyers.
With the increasing importance in the automotive industry of online transparency and speed to market, by using myMobileListing and MiPaaS, Manheim is demonstrating that it knows the importance of and has the ability to empower dealers with the technology and services to easily and quickly facilitate communication, collaboration and enable successful online transactions.
