C2 Education is holding a Campaign Speech Writing Contest, now through November 13. October 09, 2012
The presidential election is just around the corner. To encourage students to become more civic minded, C2 Education is holding a campaign speech writing contest. Students who submit entries before November 13 can compete to win a $1,000 cash scholarship.
Entries must be between 300 and 400 words long. Students should use their speeches to explain what they would do if they could be elected President of the United States of America. All participants will receive a $100 C2 Education gift certificate, and the top ten finalists will also receive $50 Amazon gift certificates.
Finalists will be selected by an independent panel of judges. The ten finalists will then have the opportunity to submit a YouTube video explaining why they should win. The speeches and videos will be uploaded, and the public will vote to determine the grand prize winner.
For more information or to submit entries, visit C2 Education's web site.
