Dallas, TX (PRWEB) October 09, 2012

In the continued effort to reduce cargo theft, WAR-LOK, the global leader of transportation and supply chain security solutions, introduces the new RUD product line to protect trailers with roll-up doors from thieves.

“We are excited to introduce the RUD product line to fulfill a very critical market need within the trucking industry,” says Dan Marlett, Executive Partner at WAR-LOK.

Many of the freight trailers on the road have roll-up doors and there are very few options for protecting the important cargo from thieves. WAR-LOK designed the RUD line to fit exactly that need. The RUD-T is specifically designed to fit TODCO roll-up doors while the RUD-W fits Whiting roll-up doors.

CargoNet, a manager of national cargo theft databases, recently released the statistics for Quarter 2, 2012. Cargo theft in Q2 increased by 22% from Q2 2011. The most common locations for cargo theft to occur are at warehouses, distribution centers, truck stops, and parking lots – typically when cargo is left unattended and often unprotected.

“WAR-LOK is dedicated to protecting cargo from thieves,” says Mr. Marlett. “We stand behind our products and the RUD-T and RUD-W fit well within the WAR-LOK product line.”

Cargo locks, such as those made by WAR-LOK, are sold in truck stops, Amazon, and through many online distribution channels. Do not endanger a shipment when a simple solution is affordable and readily available.

WAR-LOK is the leading manufacturer of transportation and supply chain security solutions. Based in Dallas, TX, WAR-LOK offers many types of locks with an infinite number of key options – key alike, key different, key to master key, key some to one key and others to another with a master, etc. More information can be found at the WAR-LOK website.
