Some of former president Gloria Macapagal Arroyo's requests have been granted. Prosecution lawyers posed no objection for Gloria Arroyo (GMA) to have a radio & TV at her hospital suite at the Veterans Memorial Medical Center (VMMC). Government lawyers likewise did not object to GMA's request that she be allowed to walk within the VMMC grounds to get some fresh air and sunlight, as well as attend Sunday mass at the VMMC chapel. Provided, of course, that she be given adequate security. However, two other GMA requests were still turned down. NO laptop and cellphone for the former president while on hospital arrest. The Arroyo camp has been requesting for this privilege because, according to them, she is till the sitting Representative of her district in Pampanga and, as such, has duties to attend to for her constituents. The prosecution, however, said her lawyers and visitors will be allowed to take their mobile phones and laptops into her suite provided that these leave the room together with their owners. All of these comes amid continuing protests from anti-Arroyo camps accusing the former president of getting special treatment. Members of Migrante walked to the VMMC to protest earlier today. They said Arroyo should be transferred to the Manila City Jail because she's already recovering from her illness <b>...</b>
