Some of former president Gloria Macapagal Arroyo's requests have been granted. Prosecution lawyers posed no objection for Gloria Arroyo (GMA) to have a radio & TV at her hospital suite at the Veterans Memorial Medical Center (VMMC). Government lawyers likewise did not object to GMA's request that she be allowed to walk within the VMMC grounds to get some fresh air and sunlight, as well as attend Sunday mass at the VMMC chapel. Provided, of course, that she be given adequate security. However, two other GMA requests were still turned down. NO laptop and cellphone for the former president while on hospital arrest. The Arroyo camp has been requesting for this privilege because, according to them, she is till the sitting Representative of her district in Pampanga and, as such, has duties to attend to for her constituents.
