Niels Bohr was a Danish physicist who made foundational contributions to understanding atomic structure and quantum mechanics. The doodle shows a model of a hydrogen atom. Around the Nucleus you can see three orbits. If an electron „jumps" in another orbit it emitted a photon of energy with a specific frequency. The background looks like a radioactive trace. More about the atomic theory / atomic model: en.wikipedia.org Niels Bohr received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1922. He was one of the most influential scientists of the 20th century. Niels Bohr died an November 18th, 1962. More about Niels Bohr Discovery: en.wikipedia.org www.nobelprize.org Happy Birthday, Niels Bohr.
