A world-record size coffee mosaic was created in Budapest, Hungary over the weekend. It reflects the infinity of news and of the MBA program at Corvinus School of Management. Sztarold.hu, Hungary's most intelligent news portal - in hungarian called hírkereső -, and the Corvinus Business School - MBA program students, collaborated over the weekend to create a world record coffee mosaic. The mosaic creation was celebrating the infinity of news and of Corvinus MBA programs in Budapest, Hungary, Europe.
According to a Konrad Wetzker, Director of Corvinus School of Management, "The mosaic consists of 6,400 cups of coffee in different shades. The caffeinated creation depicted a star with tick which is a logo of the famous news site sztarold.hu friss hírek. The symbol represents the infinity of MBA, and infinitude of news as well."
Mr. Tom Lajtos, CEO of Sztarold.hu, stated, "The news, as well as the school is borderless, since there are tens of nations studying in Budapest Corvinus Business School...HU letters as well, showing the world, that the new world record is resident in Budapest, Hungary from the end of September 2012...This element is a part of the mosaic."
The size of the display is a space of 8 m x 8 m (26.15 ft x 26.25 ft)...The previous record was held with a mosaic containing 5642 cups of coffee. It was a depiction of Elvis Presley.
