Does President Obama really support Israel? Mr. Obama has taken a lot of flak after he was caught off guard when talking with French President Nicolas Sarkozy at the G20 Summit on November 3rd. Reporters overheard President Sarkozy complaining about Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu, and Mr. Obama agreed, allegedly saying, "...I have to deal with him every day." JN1 covers American voters' reactions to this rather candid gaffe, and many are voicing the same criticism leveled by the Republican presidential candidates. If President Obama hopes to be reelected, he clearly has a lot of work to do to recapture Jewish and pro-Israeli votes and to strengthen the American-Israeli alliance.
