UST brings back the whole crew for another run to the Final Four. Beyond that is up to how they will execute and follow coach Pido's instructions. This is the most talented UST bunch for years. Karim Abdul is back to punish people with his superb lowpost footwork. Jeric Teng will provide the toughness, leadership and scoring to help off Abdul. Tata Bautista is also back to shoot the lights out when given the green light. But the Tigers' fortunes utmostly hinge on Jeric Fortuna's and Kevin Ferrer's play. Fortuna is the best point guard in the league right now. He can score, defend, dish out and even board with the big guys. Ferrer should follow up on a great opening campaign last year. The former UAAP Juniors MVP is bound for greatness and he was consistent all throughout last season. But as much as they need Fortuna and Ferrer on the ball, it's Abdul's foul-prone tendencies and temper they must have to deal with. Abdul has to grow from those and accept that Pinoy basketball comes with a few hacks and knees in your drive for glory.
