The 33 year old - who has reportedly received a church blessing in France with her partner of seven years - says her father just can't accept her sexual preference as an open lifestyle. He can accept it, sort of, as in the closet lifestyle choice, but not as a social statement." Homosexuality was decriminalised in Hong Kong in 1991, though gay marriage is still not recognised by law.
