Even though many resorts in Chile and Argentina have already stopped operations for 2012, there are still quite a number of ski areas that are still open and currently offering lift accessed skiing and snowboarding.
Following a challenging season, South American resort operators are looking towards 2013 with hope and anticipation. La Parva ski resort located outside of Santiago, Chile called the 2012 season “the worst in the past seven years”.
Below is a current list of resorts and their closing dates for the season in Chile and Argentina.
