Denmark's CO2 Energy Efficiency project intends to increase energy conservation and environmental sustainability on its nation's roads. September 25, 2012

Denmark has increased efforts to reduce fuel consumption and carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions – and lessen their citizens’ fuel costs. The nation introduced an energy conservation project expected to save 101 million dollars, 12.5 million gallons of fuel, and 45,000 tons of CO2 yearly with re-engineered, energy-efficient roadways...Transtec’s engineers to use their robotic laser profiler, RoboTex, to collect data capable of creating 3D images of various pavement surfaces.
