Sunday bomb hits the Evangelical Church of West Africa, Nigeria
A Sunday morning suicide bomb attack on June 17, left at least 4 dead and at least 40 people injured at the Evangelical Church of West Africa in Wusasa, Zaria in Kaduna State, Nigeria. That same Sunday, two other churches were attacked, including Christ the King Cathedral Catholic church in the Sabon Gari area of Zaria and Shalom Royal International Church at Trikania. The Kaduna State government had declared a 24-hour curfew. The Boko Haram militant group later claimed responsibility for the attacks
