UN Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie has visited Syrian refugees at the Altinozu camp in the Turkish province of Hatay. Hundreds of people gathered to try and catch a glimpse of the Hollywood actress. Inside, Jolie met some of the refugees who have fled the brutal crackdown. Turkey has given shelter to almost ten thousand in total -- nearly half of whom are children. The refugees are housed in five tent vilages in the province. Turkey has vowed not to shut its frontiers to those coming from Syria. Ankara has also said it will be offering humanitarian assistance to the thousands of people stranded at the frontier.
